Quite brooding initially, but it softens with time in the glass. The big red elements of Cab and Syrah dominate, and this would be so good with grilled meat or a lamb stew. Not made for sipping on its own.

This was a surprise for its price point and popularity. Very complex. Dark fruit, violets, tobacco, leather, prune, intense. Carries brightness and plenty of structure. Really enjoyed it.

Lightly suductive tannins that opens and lightens ups as time goes on into juiciness.... possibly the syrah shining through. The minerality of it gives it layers as well. I'm liking the wines out of this area.
