This is a rich layered wine. Flavors of pepper, spice and dark fruit. Really like this wine at 60 + degrees. Found this wine on clearance and I don't know why. Would buy again and I do recommend this wine.

Feb 16th, 2014I can see the attraction to this wine, but it is not really for my palate. At 14.4% alcohol I find it very hot and a touch overripe. The blueberry and marionberry fruit is really mouth coating and I don't find quite enough acidity to balance.

Wonderful dark fruit flavors of boysenberry and black cherry. Smooth tannins tending more to dry Full bodied with a satisfying finish.

One of my favorite wines of the night. Still packed quite a punch for the vintage, even after being left out for a few hours. Absolutely stunning wine. Still is a bit hot with alcohol but a lovely wine.

Oct 15th, 2017This one always seems to get better with age. Not as good the second day though. First day the white pepper notes really came through. Decent Syrah.
