Crappy glass, beautiful bottle. Once it opened, beautiful ripe berries, soil and earth.

It was better and fresher right out of the gate. As it got air it became too soft and the oak started to dominate. Overall, a lackluster showing.

Light, almost transparent red. Fruit-forward, more tannin than expected but they're long and agreeable. A modern flavor profile, and a bit lacking for concentration, but generous and appealing. 18 months of 50% new oak, not toasted.

I’m not a fan of pinot noirs but this is one of the most complex, dry and enjoyable ones. Would be great with seafood or when you need a little lighter wine.
