Very jammy. Maureen says "tastes like a PBJ without the bread and peanut butter." Earthy and spicy, has notes of rosemary and oregano as well as very dark cherries and blueberries. Really well blended and good bottle age. Drank well with grilled red meat. I used an aerator and it worked nicely.

Nice touch of Viognier to provide a slight lift on the palate and nose. Still under cork. Deep crimson colour.

Amazingly dark and rich. Full of ripe fruit and earthy notes, with plums, spices, and chocolate predominating. Nose is not very fruity or floral but reminiscent of a Rhone or Chateauneuf du Pape. Really special wine.

Really spectacular wine! Rich tannins, dark fruit, and a floral and earthy nose. The terroir comes through beautifully, along with a buttery soft and warm glow on the back of the tongue. This wine is a sensory delight from start to finish.

Little more depth and spice than the Grenache. Bigger, bolder mixed berry fruit, bigger spice and medium intensity of pepper.

Stunningly well made wine which belied its 13 years age. Supple & rich yet fresh & balanced too. A Barossa classic.

Beautiful balance, good lift and more subtle than expected. Wonderful stuff.
