Cuvèe Ste Catherine Alsace Riesling

Tasting group 7/24/22 @ Rosemary Cakebread's. My 1st place, group 1st place. Honey, petrol. Sweet impression but bone dry. Class act

Dry, snappy and rich at the same time.

Apricot, orange/tangerine peel, pineapple, beeswax, petrol, honeysuckle.

This was in a great spot. Stunning clarity and freshness yet aged aromas of petrol, lemon curd and leather. Finish was just a mineral bomb and some mid palate richness because Alsace.

Crazy crazy. A little too much VA for me, but still amazing. My fave Alsatian producer.

Powerful. Delicious.

Crazy complex. Orange oil and saison. You don't think sweet/dry; you think balanced.

83 Pinot Gris. Seriously. This wine shows the brilliance of Alsace in the 80's!
