I usually find wine aged in oak is heavy, which appeals to my taste buds but this wine is lighter and citrusy, not in a; I can't finish the bottle kind of way, more of a; I will certainly finish the bottle - I dislike waste - but might not be first in the queue to buy it again. Only because it's not as heavy as I like wines stored in oak barrels to taste.

Saying that I reserve the right to come back and edit my review later (after drinking some more of it) as I might change my opinion!

Blinkin lovely wine this is, fruity but strong, no acidity, the label says apple and banana hints with vanilla and 3 months in oak barrels - I definitely think the wines I like best are those sat in oak barrels for however long, as they have a lovely heavy taste.

Good. Maybe a bit overrated. Lemon, lemon peel, sweet notes of vanilla and oak, some freshness in the nose but not in the mouth. A bit unbalanced, full body mouth with bitterness in the aftertaste. Complex but not ingesting. Overripe Chardonnay.

Lovely smooth wine, maybe a little thin, but that makes it very quaffable!
