The Climber Limited Release Merlot Blend

Rich, fruits mid palate and a smooth finish. This is really nice. Please decant. It really hits its stride a couple days after opening.

Plumminess and baking spice on the nose, complimentary palate. A nice big bodied red, but nothing I would go out of my way to find.

This quickly became one of my favorite wineries! Friendly, approachable, small production, delicious food products and delicious wines! This vintage is 96% Merlot, 3% Petit Verdot, and 1% Malbec. I get loads of blueberry, cedar, licorice, flowers (maybe violets), cherry and a hint of peppermint here. Medium body with medium grippy tannins that carry flavors of cherry, licorice and a flint like flavor. Give it time to breathe. Made very much in a old world less fruit forward manner.

So much flavor. Not too dry.

2014 Vintage: spectacular! Love the tannins. Tastes of earth, leather, black cherry.

My favorite is the Killer Cab however this is a close second! And a fantastic everyday wine!

Bigger than I expected, but really enjoyed it.

Pretty young, I'd hold off for a bit

Macerated black fruit, baking spice, white pepper on nose. Moderate tannins, missing a little acidity. Plums, ripe blackberries, sugar cookie batter.
