Ripe to over ripe fruit notes with candied cherry, black cherry, dried fig, a bit spicy, dusty, cocoa powder, cinnamon, smoky, tobacco, vanilla, dark roast coffee. An interesting flavor combination.

Initially served too warm lifting the warm spice and baked flavors from the Syrah and alcohol onto the palet in an overwhelming way. After chilling it down some it become much more balanced and revealed the dark fruit flavors of the Cab. Interesting g experience all together.
