Villa Gemma Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Rosè

2013 Very pale Crimson with a medium band of pink appearing before a thin water white rim. Semi aromatic with fresh red cherry, blackberry, earth, tobacco leaf, and savory iodine. Very light body, mouthwatering long lasting acid, no astringency, medium plus alcohol 13% throws very little heat but offers a slight prickle on the lips. A bone dry wine dominated by fresh red fruit aromas on the palate, cherry and cranberry with a touch of bitterness on the balanced medium finish.
