Dark fruit driven (blackberries) with hints of freshness in the nose (a stem like note in a positive way that I link with great Hermitages, oh! That La Chapelle 1978 was one of the best wines I have ever tried), fine tannins and length.

Fresh, layered and partly showing varietally correctness, but there's also intriguing additions here indicating a "new" origin. Lovely perfume, well handled tannins and a fruit persistent finish.

Wines from Méntrida are very delicate and tasty, dark color, works with food, but nice on it´s own too.This one is a great wine from this area, I like it very much.
