Medium Ruby with aromas of red fruit and some vanilla spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry and strawberry, with smoke and sweet earthy spice. Lively acidity, fine tannins ending with earthy mineral. Drink now, no aging benefit. Pricey, better ones out there!

Dark garnet. Inviting nose and medium full palate of anise and tarry dark red cherry with a hint of menthol hovering over mid palate to finish. Medium acidity. Medium minus-minus tannins that barely assert at the moderate finish. Smooth and almost Southern California feel from this classic Carneros Pinot Noir. I prefer more structure in my PN, but if you like them softer, this is a great upgrade to your everyday California wine. Drink now through 2026.

A nice and easy drinking Pinot Noir from Napa Valley.

Medium-bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, raspberries, spices, light chocolates, light vegetables and herbs.

Nice and engaging. Spicy and fruit forward.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$40.

Bright ruby garnet with a dark purple core. Inviting nose of Marasca cherries and a hint of vanilla. Medium palate echoes the nose with classic Carneros medium minus acidity and low tannins. Moderate finish. While I prefer PN with darker fruit and better structure, this is definitely a classic example of the California style that should more than satisfy those who favor it. The low acidity makes it work well with spicier fare like blackened salmon or Mediterranean duck. Drink now through 2024.

My favorite Pinot at the moment.. What a great well-rounded wine. Plush body with a dark nose but smooth as velvet mouthfeel. Juicy but structured.. Like belle glos but better.

Bold and spicy, with a medium mouth feel (not as light as your typical Pinot). My namesake! $40 at the vineyard, bought 2!

Deep Ruby with red fruit aromas and spice. The palate shows a ton of fruit, cherry, cranberry, raspberry and touches of dark berries. Cinnamon spice is noted with the well structured wine. Soft developed tannins were noted on a smooth finish with good length.

Big, bold, highly extraced and concentrated, intense red and black fruits, full bodied with moderate grip and acidity, w/ medium plus length. Perhaps a little to big.
