First off, this has braille on the label – how cool is that? Just that alone deserves kudos. That said, this is not the kind of wine I usually drink: 14 1/2% alcohol, Rich. However, I love the Bayleaf the forest notes, and the overall restraint if it could be called that.

A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, dark Ruby with aromas of dark Berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate plum, black cherry and blueberry flavors mingled with notes of cacao and earthy tones. Nice balance of acidity and tannins with a medium finish, with a peppery tang. Very easy drinking wine at a great price.
