2009 vintage. Apparently this estate was known for releasing their wines when ready to drink. Owner CGR group was sold to a Chinese group in 2016. 60% merlot and 40% cabernet sauvignon. The high Merlot content gives this a Saint-Emilion feel in the nose. Medium-bodied, well-made Bordeaux with good fruit and fresh acidity. Slightly rustic tannin and not very complex, but very good value at less than 12 euro.

Wasn't impressed. Lacked depth.

Tasted at LCBO. Exceptionally floral nose plus red fruit, smooth finish. Light tannin so drink now. Tried at home - missing the floral nose but nice chocolaty undertones with medium weight. By next day licorice and currant came through, and floral nose started to show. Fantastic value. Buying more.

Pretty good. Too bad I don't remember where I got it. A little better on its own than with the food we paired with it (chopped salad, spicy pizza). 2011 vintage.

Much too much oak for my taste either on the nose or on the palate. It came just after a ripe chateauneuf du pape which hasn't helped I guess

Light to medium body. Drinkable. Good with chicken Provençal, cacciatore, etc.
