Cracked green peppercorns, bay leaf, Redwood forest, dried rose petals, raw beef, sandalwood, bramble, cranberry, fondant, cinnamon stick, star anise, black tea.

A few wines from last week’s 4th Friday event!
This was crazy unique. Can’t believe this is a 2018 Syrah from Australia. Make no mistake, this is more “Syrah” than it is “Shiraz”. As if you mixed a northern Rhône Syrah (think crozes-hermitage) with a Cru Beaujolais. Stemmy, carbonic, and very pure aromatically. The sub 12ABV is crazy. The palate shows some iron, sweet tar, black currant and peppercorn crusted rhubarb. Fun.

Comes across as Carbonic though that may not be the case. syrah from Australia. Clocks in at 11.2 % abv. Think lambic beer.
