Lush sweet fruit, good acidity. Well balanced. The candied notes mostly faded over a half hour.

We had a chance to taste his CHABRI on the list, but the restaurant missed their stocks.

Solid Bourgogne. Very very solid Bourgogne. Drinks perhaps like an older village from Gevrey, deeper than one would expect and more delicious than I wanted it to be.

Bit young but elegant, classic black cherry and blackberry, well rounded. May save the remaining bottle for a couple of years to let the tannins mellow. Producer to watch.

In pursuit of the perfect Bourgogne. Interesting contender — showed up to the party a bit late and needed time/air to open up and shine. Vosne-like nose with brutally dark cherry and flowers. On the palate delivered green-ish tannins and surprisingly pleasant finish.
