Fresh, bright fruit. Cranberries. And a bit of that brininess I'm just crazy about. You know what they say - "Salt water is the cure for everything; sweat, tears, or the sea."

Great wine, great guy. Lifted floral aromatics with ripe raspberries and watermelon. Some brambles and forest floor join cranberries and strawberries on the palate. Rustic and a bit edgy as non-carbonic Gamay should be. Intriguing.

Showing some age.. Tobacco, dark cherry, forest floor, toast(possible American oak?), nice acid and lots to of earth. Ribs didn't stand a chance. Thanks Harry!

Black cherry, forest floor and truffles. Fine, plush and plentiful tannins coupled with mouthwatering acidity. Serious. (The Jif in the background was really good too.)

Continuing with the warm (hot?) vintages. Morning nice work @John Grochau Big, rich, velvety bad boy right here. Handled the heat well. Kirsch. All of the creaminess that folks love.

Heck of a job for an '06 out of half bottle Mr. @John Grochau Cocoa and some rust. Maybe even I daresay a touch of brett? Fruit has fallen off a bit, but there is some strawberry and blackberry compote with a touch of heat. The crowd in St Louie really dug it.
