Super spicy tannins in the face. Fruity for Tempranillo. Petite Sirah tannins with European spice and earth. Memorable!

Spicy red fruits on the nose with leather, a bit of smokiness and licorice. Full-bodied, but well-balanced with great structure and concentration on the palate with a tiny bit of heat in the finish. Outstanding value.

Re-Rating this 2008 in 2019. It’s taken on a Bordeaux like structure with more black and blue fruits than I recall where drinking this several years ago. The Spanish oakiness and suns still present, but has softened into a food friendly wine with a nice full bodied balance of acidity, structure and a touch of fresh fruit.

Robust, berry fruity, that's smooth on the palate with a full spiciness

Maybe a bit past its prime. I usually am positively biased towards almost any Spanish red, but this one I probably is kind of "meh."

Quite dry, a bit chalky, some berry flavors, probably best with a spicy meat on the rare side

Dark berry, herb and white pepper nose. Beautifully balanced wine with hints of oak, hay and dirt. Full bodied with nice silky texture. Highly recommend for you Wino’s that love complex wine. (Hint: Decant)
