Bernardino Chianti Sangiovese Blend

notes of plum and cherry in bouquet, reddish translucent, strong cherry flavor with sweet plum secondary and a slightly acidic finish

Cherry and pepper. Short finish but I didn't want more after a day of sun walking in Rome

Chianti always makes me think of Silence of the Lamb

2016, Chianti, Fattoria Striscia, Bernardino

Pretty dry. Initially wasn't a fan, but I've come around to it. Also happened to pair well with the Easter ham.
