Cuvée Harmonie Calatayud Petit Verdot Tannat

Good aromas of red fruit and hint of bacon. Great mouthfeel and tannin. Acidity is great. Finish is impressive and clean. Flavor and mouthfeel linger yet mouth feels clean and crisp. Nice contrast.

Just 2 say a Spanish petit Verdot & tannat earns points but this has a quiet feral intensity-I bet this will open up w time. Thx 2 robin 4 telling me @it

Loved the label but not the wine. Must have been a bad bottle because it didn’t even have a good aroma to it. Had a glass and threw out the bottle.

The polar vortex is killing me. 🥶 A nice wine to warm up with. Dark fruits and black pepper.

Surprisingly warm and well balanced, not a single note of bitterness but some succulents sweet red fruit combined with a crisp tartness. Can’t beat it for the price and I enjoyed it incredibly.

90% PV, 10% Tannat. Notes of blackberry, black pepper, pencil lead. Subtle, elegant wine with soft tannins on the finish.
