Best with truffle-accented Piemonte foods or hard cheese. Not a light violet-flower Barolo; with aging will be more interesting.

My local wine guy is a god damned liar. He said this wine would have BIG BALLED tannins and spice. I was expecting to feel like a pirate while drinking this. Instead, I feel like my local wine guy just boarded my vessel and took all of my treasures. Lightweight Nebbiolo. Table wine garbagio.
