Maybe the biggest disappointment of the night. Utterly flat, boring, generic.

Primarily all Merlot in this Lussac-St. Emilion Red. Dark garnet color. Big aromas and flavors of black fruit, eucalyptus, black licorice, baking spices and toast. (A bit yeasty) Very rich and concentrated. Full bodied and plush, but the tannins are soft and velvety. Quite fresh tasting. Thanks for letting us try this one, Kase.

Intense aroma of vanilla, cinnamon, and cola. Then bold flavors of black cherry plum and fig. Followed by charcoal and graphite. Soft tannins.

2015 vintage. Lots of bite upfront. High alcohol and acidity. Not my favorite initially but lots of dark fruits on the after taste. Lots of tannins. Probably needs to age a few more years for a smoother experience
