Coteaux Cornas Syrah

Right in the zone. Lush and wild and keeps you comin back.

Probably a bit past peak, but still deep, vibrant and peppery.

Pretty and clean, cooked black and bluefruits, cocoa, vanilla and baking spice, leather. Supple for Cornas, oak is prevalent and starting to integrate.

Middle age and absolutely singing.

Apple core attack. allspice, coriander seed finish. Melted dark chocolate richness with moderate sediment. Peculiar bivalve brininess emerges towards the end of the night.

Unfiltered, coarse mouthfeel in a good way, started light and opened up peppery and smooth. Give it time in decanter. Earthy.

Love the crazy violet, purple flower aromatics. Totally wild. All that with balance and elegance
