Tried six 2002 reds, all with Cabernet in the blend. Rich, delicious, vegetal, the eucalyptus gave it away as Aussie

Delicious! Superb cab with very balanced profile. Smooth and yet constrained. Winner of tasting, by far. Rating affirmed 4/12/19. Delicious.

Very enjoyable. Fruity, not too heavy.

This was massive but subdued now (old age?)
Concentrated flavors of dark fruits and berries. Smooth, bold and big albeit a bit monotonous. Very low acidity makes it not too interesting. It is a good drinking wine to have with people who like big fruity massive wines . In my cellar for a long time, had to be drunk 😄

Color of dark thick purple, almost like Syrah, with dark ruby tone on the rim. Nice nose of cocoa, dried raisin, crayon, menthol, leathery, dense and structured, and sweet oak. By nose, she is fantastic. Taste of milk chocolate, balanced mix of sweetness and acidity, some black cherries, some balsamic vinegar, jammy, smooth and easy to drink, not to mention fragrant and slight smoky sweet oak. Aftertaste of some firm tannins, menthol, balsamic acidity, dried raisin, and a hint of spice, medium long finish. Keep her or stock her up. A hidden gem. After the wine opens up further, cherry and smoky oaks start to dominate. Equally nice.

Green savoury notes but lots of structure, good length. Opens up.

Heavy vegetal notes early on but it opens up a bit, with the vegetal notes remaining but toned down

James really liked this one. I couldn't taste much due to a cold.
