80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot aged in a combination of mostly new French oak, but some Hungarian oak as well, represents 1,190 cases, or 50% of the production from their estate vineyard. This wine shows beautiful floral notes along with hints of earth, chocolate, espresso, licorice and blackcurrants. It is elegant, medium to full-bodied, with impressive purity, texture and length.

@David A Lentine it was a great evening with friends and what a better way to enjoy it than with this fine bottle. Jennifer and I thank you so very much for sharing this. A distinctive red blend that is drinking perfect. Supple and smooth texture offering dark berry, blue fruits and plum. Ideally this is how all tannins should be integrated, wonderful! Nice long finish that shows puffs of smoke and the return of the fruit.

Cabernet Day, y'all! Beautiful red fruits, tannins starting to integrate, still needs more time, though.

Blackberry, cassis, firm tannins. Had a streak of sage/vegetable on the finish that was off-putting the first night, but singing the second!

Another promising wine from here that undoubtedly will start to blossom in 5+ years.

08' full-bodied explosive & complexed wine. Toasted oak, dark chocolate, rich black coffee, young & tannic. Drinking with depth & length. Great Bordeaux blend. Best years are in front of it!

Firing on all cylinders. Makes me want to open a bottle of the Kapcsandy Grand Vin '08 sooner than later.
