I was left unimpressed with one.
Although everyone else were not phased by it.

I discovered #viogner 7 years ago on a great #washingtonstate camping trip with @momma_leslie. I've been chasing this golden dragon ever since. The bar was set by #kestrel and their #pureplatinum Most have fallen short. Not a common wine here, I usually jump at a chance to sample a Viognier. This one is a bit acidic and dry. Pear and apple notes. Drinkable for sure, but well, just not what I was looking for tonight.

Light pears & apples with a very slight mineral finish.

Nice balance of fruit, acid, minerality, and oak. Paired well with wood grilled ribeye and chorizo!

Perhaps a bit flabby and not aromatic enough but pretty enjoyable.

The label says that only a few will be able to taste it. Maybe that's not a bad thing. It's dry and minerally on the front, not unlike the Australian Outback and the back end kicks like an irritated kangaroo
