Quite concentrated cherry. Alcohol definitely present. Not as big a fan of this as some of the other ratings. Slight old laundry smell which may be blowing off. Nice tannins still holding strong. 2009

Very quaffable, but still impressive, showing the elegance of cabernet franc - blackcurrant, herbs, charmingly farm-like (not much, though, it’s no brett-monster at all). Acidity like lightning through the dark fruits, polished tannins. Pretty much perfect. Magnum bottle.

2010; pretty floral aromatics, great colour, still youthful. Great attack BUT the wine is highly acidic and the tannins are unripe. Green Flavors persist. Very aggressive and unfriendly. Short. Disappointing.
