Elegant Bourgogne level wine. Good complexity on the back end of the palate. Needs to be decanted.

My first Maume-tannic, masculine, compact. I plan to open another 2011 on a cold rainy day next winter to see how this one develops!

Rich acidity with a lot of funk...great, affordable, everyday Burgundy.

Drinking this 2011 in 2021...probably a few years too late. A bit of aldehydic quality on the nose with some cherry, balsamic vinegar, and wet earth. There's still some fruit left with medium sour cherry acidity plus noticable VA.

Drinkable, but getting long in the tooth.

What a delicious corked wine. Drank it gleefully with a side of musty celery salt.
