Top notch Chablis-like. Salty, loyal to its Atlantic origin. Pale gold, closed nose, tons of crushed shells on the palate. Quite JURAssic. Low in alcohol, high in acid and minerals. A touch of flor perhaps. Which adds class to the palate. — 7 years ago

Sweet fruit, sweet spices, bloody, leather, tobacco. Mid bodied, quite good sense of chalkness, fine grained tannins but there is a supper annoying sweetneess that bothers me. — 7 years ago

The 16’s are lighter, brighter than traditional 14s like. Wet granite comes first, then the spiciness and cranberry juice. Not juicy on the palate. It’s more acid and mineral driven. I like it although it not my fav Foillard. — 7 years ago
