Upon opening shows quite modern notes of cool reduction, toasted sesame like. With time opens up and shows much more classical - Apples, pear tarts, a bit of salt toffee.
Nicely focused on the palate, broad & rich in flavor yet balanced with energetic acidity and, in the end, quite taut & tight. Balances well the exotic breadth with the energetic tension & ascetic frame.
This drinks very nicely already now, but needs a bit of aeration, or time.
A really nice alternative to Burgundy — 7 days ago
100% Nebbiolo grown on terraces at the entry of the Aosta. Alley in Alto Piemonte.
Fermented & aged in acacia.
A crunchy, juicy light face of Nebbiolo. Lots of fresh red fruit, a bit of cherry and bit of flowery. Let’s, some crushed rock, freshly baked bread. Fairly light, very joyful, very enticing.
On the palate this is equally light & fresh. Just a bit of tanin, juicy fruity acidity and amazing purity. Light yet with depth and an edge. A joy to sip!
Cheap as chips for this level of quality & joy. — 17 days ago
Needs a bit of time to blow off the youthful baking spice but then unfolds and shows brilliant purity of fruit. More on the side of red fruit plus some fresh tree brak, a flower note. Very fresh, very Burgundian, very enticing. Even better on day 2!
On the palate this retains the purity of fruit, with fresh acidity and great quality of tannins - firm, polished, so juicy. Everything is impeccably balanced and with surprising depth for a ‘simple’ Nebbiolo. This is a delight! Delish!!
24y old and making such good wine!
Can’t wait to try his first Barolos from 2023 once they hit the market.

Surprisingly restrained & cool on the nose. Needs some time to open up.
On the palate this is a bit bolder yet still quite cool style. Nice energy & depth. A bit of heat in the finish.
Still very young, with the wood still sticking a bit out. Very high quality wood but sticking out. Will def improve with time.
A nice one. — 14 days ago
Fresh & very St. Emilion in the nose. Rich yet savoury. Cassis & gravel.
On the palate this is more Californian - broader & richer yet still very elegant, impeccably balanced and so elegant. And drinking very nicely right now. — 14 days ago
Highly elegant nose with ripe apple, lemon tart, shortbread but underneath there is rocky, salty minerality. And a fresh energetic core. Very enticing.
Fresh on the palate, with a hint of tannins and a spicy, exotic note. The racy minerality cuts through, giving an energetic, fresh mouthfeel. Ripe lemons, green grapefruit, a bit of tart apple. This has brilliant energy & nice depth.
Very elegant and quite complex. And highly drinkable!

I’m a little bit disappointed with this wine. For 3y it shows surprising age - deep golden color, with ripe yellow apples & Reine Claude plums, with a bit of fresh apple pie. Round and mellow - I miss the typical mineral, steely sharpness. Esp. at this age.
On the palate this is more structured, properly mineral & steely with racy, juicy acidity and a long finish of salty lemons. Nice depth, too.
Went well with the fish, by not sure if I’m going to buy it again. — 6 days ago
Elegant, understated, fresh. black currant & cassis, a hint of anise, nicely integrated wood. Enticing.
On the palate this is rich, creamy yet restrained & savoury. Perfectly balanced, juicy, plush tannins, filled with ripe black fruit. Beautiful mouthfeel & nice depth.
This is truly a nice one. — 14 days ago
Cool, fresh, very elegant. Nicely reductive.
This is quite complex and really lovely!
Restrained, very taught & focused. Precise. So elegant! Amazing depth and energy. I really like this. The 14.5% alc unnoticeable. Fresh, racy and really, really elegant. This is a complete wine. A stunner! — 14 days ago

A crazily old Chianti blend (with large % of Canaiolo and Malvasia Nera) from vineyards in the Appenines, north east from Florence, almost on the border to Romagna.
Very open & floral-fruity on the nose, fresh, with cherries & black fruit, a touch of cassis, tomato leaf and orange blossom.
On the palate - zesty, juicy, ultra fresh with edgy, slightly rustic (yet light) tannins. Cherries, dark berries, a pinch of spice. Great purity & flow, dangerously drinkable (at an unnoticeable 14.5%!)!
Slightly chilled this is the perfect Italian food wine! A delightful discovery! — a day ago
