Zola

Littorai

Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2016

Off the list at Zola in Palo Alto. Nice nose. Fruity but with a mineral quality. Decent in the mouth. A good white for the meal. — 5 years ago

Balia di Zola

Balitore Sangiovese 2015

Nose not to strong and nothing really stood out. Tobacco and green tea flavors. Medium body with good tannin structure. Great ending. Can definitely see the appeal to the market. Flavor is not unbelievably strong. — 7 years ago

Domaine du Pegau

Cuvée Réservé Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2004

Best wine ever. 2004 c du pape. Had it at Zola a while ago. Very reasonably priced there too. — 11 years ago

E. Guigal

La Turque Côte-Rôtie Syrah 1991

Brought to Zola. Dark reddish tawny. Exotic nose. Notes of earthy cherry, some menthol, dark soil, blueberries, and some great spice. Rich and expansive in the mouth. With 5 hours of air this exploded in the glass. Silky. Love this wine. — 5 years ago

Marcassin Vineyard Chardonnay

Drank with friends at Zola. I think this needs a few more years to totally shine, but none the less stellar. — 5 years ago

Zola Castillon

Côtes de Bordeaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

Correct wine is: Zola Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux
Lovely everyday red - would certainly recommend with food or with conversation or both. I’m not a fan of heavier reds but this is full and fabulously delicious!

Dolcetto d'Alba 2013

There is an Italian sale on in the O Briens library.. This is export is up there with the Godfather, Zola, Parma Ham, Pavorotti, Paresse and Sophia Loren... It enters the taste chamber and dances on every part of the tongue.. I love oak but this bit of juice is full of taste poke. It covers berries and spice with no oak, it's light, bright, sprite and is keeping the Baroness content and bright.. Bacchus should place the Jesuit AMDG across the label... Exceptional value also... A 9.0!! This must be a seriously pleasing vintage....I've discovered Pinot is the way to a Galway girls heart but I'll most certainly give this one a whirl.
