Great wine enjoying w/ Laura & J. Andrew! Cheers 🍇🍷❤️😘 — 3 years ago
I usually don’t enjoy wines from Lodi, but this was a pleasant surprise. Not a fruit bomb & not flabby - great concentration w/out being overdone. Tons of fruit but showing some of the aromatic complexity you should find with these varietals. Impressive balance & length on finish. — 9 months ago
Man I just love Norton - it is such a fun, expressive wine. It’s loud & boisterous and downright unruly, but it’s uniquely American. Inky and brimming with black fruit galore & then menthol, medicinal, licorice, forest floor, squirrely spice just pour out of the glass. So expressive. On the palate it is voluptuous w/plenty of acidity & tannins, it’s just a bit clumsy, but it means well. Black fruit compote with kitchen sink spices envelope the palate. Decent finish. Don’t know what the hell you’re supposed to eat with this stuff but it’s a lot of fun. — 2 years ago

N: lemon cream, apples, stone
P: very crisp w a hint of cream. Lemon and crisp apples, a bit of pepper shows up as well.
Lean but with a bit of leesy texture, and lots of acidity, — 2 years ago
Wow. I have had this on the shelf for four years. Have been leery to pop the cork for fear it had turned skunky. Has best by date of 09-2016 on label. I am pleased to report it has survived cellaring. Chocolate Ale w/ Raspberry. 9.1% ABV. Raspberry colored. Very good! Celebrating KC Chief’s win over Miami Dolphins. Gooooo Chieffffffs! — 3 years ago
