Another @Paul Treadway Huntington Beacher Bum pick. Scrumptious. So damn scrumptious. A bit fleshy but it almost echoes the whisky I tried last night—a viognier-based blend it is richhhhhh. But was picked early enough that there is a tasty acid level and it is all tangerines and honeysuckle salad with an apple cider vinegar dressing. Refreshing and richhhhhh. Lushness delivered on a saber. I usually despise California viognier but I like this blend. Direly need to try their Rhône variety rosé and red. Santa Barbera Rhône has been my bag recently and not just cause TOP wine’s Elena is on my podcast soon bwahaha — 6 years ago

Question: was it this or that next wine? Who cares…a Museum Reserva! Had at a Spanish restaurant in Santa Fe…very good wine with positive surprises of full flavor big dark berries and smooth palate, controlled tannins, tasty finish. — 3 years ago

A world class olive oil producer in Istra is now trying his hand at red wine. This merlot - refroška blend is superb!!! Smooth as a silk; light fruit/light tannins with a touch of acidity. A perfect start to any meal. Even better on its own IMHO. A top 3 red in my collection; and will remain so for a while. — 5 years ago
