Rhone blend that I opened a year too late — 4 years ago
This wine is really a surprise. Unionville says this is the first time they ever tried a sparkling wine, and it is a winner. Not a ton of complexity but very well-balanced with a nice earthiness and Riesling character. Can't wait for the next one. — 6 years ago
Rich Oak and structure at eight years old! Continue to be impressed with their Chardonnay program — a month ago
Very solid effort here - 100% Counoise from Central NJ. Yes, the Rhône varietal has verve (acidity) with balance! Medium weight with a feminine bent. Perfect with house lamb burgers w/feta and Tzatziki topping. elderberry and black cherry mango in a Pinot style format. Delish! Easily five more years left in the bottle :) — 4 years ago
What a surprise. There's a reason unionville usually blends Cabernet, but this one really stood out on its own. Very smooth with quite a bit going on. — 4 years ago
Fantastically concentration of balanced fruit! Glen Manor is style, central NJ is taste! — 4 years ago
Super sophisticated and refined… A real sommeliers dream to pair with sophisticated four-star food. Crisp minerality married delicately with oak enhanced mouthfeel = precision!! — 5 years ago
Perfect almost sangria tasting rosé without being too sweet or too dry. Could use some fruit floating in it but perfect for just drinking a la mode — 7 years ago

Yes, I am reviewing this at 10 years old - and I’m impressed with its preservation, I just think the beginning point was a little on thin side (sugar development). Definitely a nice effort at a difficult varietal to mature on the east coast. Raspberry and mulberry notes lead - not a bad effort! — a month ago
