Pop and pour. A brilliant dark magenta color. On the nose: restrained notes of red fruit, vanilla, earth, herbs, and smoke. Taste: strawberry/raspberry, baking spice, dark chocolate, saline, minerals, with a medium finish. Blend of cab franc,cab sav, petit verdot, malbec, tempranillo, ancellotta from Ecuador. Never had Ecuador wines, but while here will need to taste through some. This was a nice easy to drink start. — a year ago

This Malbec dominant Bordeaux blend from Mendoza, Argentina offers a full body with notes of black pepper, plum, and blackberry. It has smooth, developed tannins with a medium finish. This wine paired beautifully with steak. — 2 months ago

Deep ruby colored, the nose reveals pronouned aromas of fresh blueberries, blackberries, black plums, ink, graphite, mint as well as vanilla, cedar wood and dark chocolate. The full bodied palate is packed with ripe and smooth tannins, high fruit concentration and refreshing acidity. Quite bold and muscular, leaving a long aftertaste. Pretty deep , almost opaque , thin rim . Quite wild , dried herbs , touch of rounded red fruits . More fruit on the palate , quite ripe red fruits , quite soft but fine , nice balanced acidity . Slightly warm. Quite good length though quite dry finish . Nice now , wouldn’t want to leave this too much longer however . — 3 years ago
