Bright golden color. Aromas of pineapple, peach, apricot and apple. Citrus fruits on the palate with additional notes of lychee, grapefruit, pear and a touch of almond on the finish. Crisp acidity. For us, this is the greatest vintage of this wine, a real bait and switch between the sweet almost Sauternes-like nose and the vanilla sherry on the tongue. I recall Abe mentioning this might be peaking a few years back, but i theorize it's got a very long way to go. — 10 years ago
