A light and supple Viognier that is delightfully food friendly. Nectarine, quince and a refreshing salinity combine deliciously.
A glass of this went into a sauce and the whole thing worked very nicely together. Unfortunately my wife and I ended up eating separately because the baby was freaking out in the midst of the much documented eight month sleep regression... — 6 years ago
Feb 4, 2017 w/ Jack D & S Luigi. Well balanced Rhine blend, 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre. Definitely decant. Opens nicely. Easy drinking, medium bodied. — 9 years ago
Will now lookout for Syrah’s from Cortona — 2 years ago
Pleasantly plump with terrific Syrah signature of pepper on the finish.
Not great, but definitely a fine quaff with a burger, etc. Very Italian though I get the feeling it’s trying to be more “ international “. A little too much wood? Guessing. Eager to see what day two brings.

Dark fruit/plum. Med-full bodies. Improved over1-2 hours. Smooth tannins with good acid. Very well balanced. Love this Tuscan Syrah. 1 bottle left if this vintage. Drink next 3-4 years. — 6 years ago
Absolutely delicious. Fruity, but dried my tongue on the finish. — 2 years ago
A great Barolo and for less than $60. Nebbiolo leather and spice on the nose. Typical high but well balanced acid on the palate with raspberry and bright red fruit. — 6 years ago
Good.. This is a more traditional nebbiolo to my palate. There's a whole lotta botti in this wine. — 8 years ago
Predominantly Chardonnay & Sauvignon Blanc (along with the occasional trace of Riesling and/or Nascetta) sourced from blocks in Serralunga d' Alba's Cerretta DOCG — 10 years ago

What a strange syrah from a wonderful town. Wooly Bully tannins! Dark cherry cola gives way to chocolate, nutmeg, maybe plum, and a bunch of barnyard funk. It's awesome! — 9 months ago
