Was surprised by this. Was more characteristic of a Bordeaux than an Australian Shiraz. — 4 years ago
Delectable this cuvée is X not Dreams. Not offered in your choices. This wine is redolent with Plums, Blue Fruits, dried meats and a brambly savoury note. A lot of mineral and earth from those ancient Cambrian soils in Heathcote. On the palate those savoury plum herbal characters. Some tasters have said this is a good rendition of Hermitage. — 5 months ago
Very Rhone in style dark meaty very uncharacteristic of Australia. — 4 years ago
Excellent value. A well-made rizza imo. 1/3 in ceramic egg on skins, 2/3 in ss tank high solids. Not phenolic at all, but textured (some careful fining here?). Bone dry. Lemon sherbet, floral terpenes, some kerosene tdn building. Fleshy also comes to mind. An utterly delicious drink.
Note: Was suppose to analyse this back at KW, but I couldn't stop drinking it. Yum! — 3 years ago
