Had that trademark Heathcote earthiness and finishes with Heathcote dirt. Love Heathcote when it is medium weight and not a blockbuster. Had my second last bottle 54 weeks later on 1st October 2022 with similar tasting notes. Ripe plum and earth - medium to full bodied. Very Heathcote.

A lot of mineral and earth from those ancient Cambrian soils in Heathcote. On the palate those savoury plum herbal characters. Some tasters have said this is a good rendition of Hermitage.
