A blend of Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto grown on the slopes of Mount Olympus. Nectar of the gods?
Fresh, aromatic, enticing nose full of red fruit, dried herbs, flowers, with some baked clay notes and a peppery note towards the finish. Reminds me a bit of COS Cerasuolo from Sicily, but more aromatic.
On the palate this is surprisingly light - yet with loads of character! Nicely polished tannins, juicy acidity, great tension. The fruit slowly mellowing, but there’s depth here, a mineral core and a flow that is just amazing.
At ~20€ this is just unbelievable & unbeatable value. Delicious!! — 2 days ago

Вкус уступает аромату, поначалу вино даже кажется водянистым. Аэрациях помогает раскрыться вкусу, но одновременно делает грубее танины. В целом, отличное вино за свои деньги. — 9 years ago

4th bottle of our Greece exploration. Rapsani region, Xinomavro, Krasato, Stavroto blend. A really good effort. A little bit rounder than the Nemea. I guess the grape blend is responsible for that? Very good QPR. — 8 years ago
