South Island Sauvignon Blanc

The Crossings

Awatere Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Nice little New Zeland Sauvignon Blanc- light straw color, aromas of bell pepper skin, melon and mango aromas. Tropical fruit flavors with a crisp citrus finish. — 2 days ago

Mt. Beautiful

North Canterbury Sauvignon Blanc

Bright, almost clear colour. Grass and green vegetable nose with expected citrus as well. Unripe pear and pithy citrus dominates with relatively low acidity and a long, long, long finish that dries out again with more vegetal and cut grass tones. A different take on NZ SB. Not particularly challenging but certainly a different approach. — 11 days ago

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

Hands down, my favorite Marlborough Sauvignon. Grassy, sassy, and a big “fuck you” to the establishment. This wine packs a brash punch but throws in enough sweet caramel to put the masses at ease. Total Wine, buy again to celebrate those moments that the younger generation decides enough is enough. — 10 days ago

Collectables Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Smells like apples, sweet, delicate. Tastes like it smells, not very funky. Slight tannins, very clean, no aftertaste. Great for sipping. Not very complex. — 7 days ago

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Actually easier to drink than I remembered. Not as bright and aggressive with the craziest of the SB flavors amplified to heck as I recalled. I guess tatse and memories can be subjective to mood and other things, but this was a very complex, powerful yet easy drinking S of a B — 20 days ago

Marlbourough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

New Zealand SB, for me it’s very 2007 (that was the year of my NZSB phase), but THIS is another story. This wine is freaking fantastic. Not heavy on the grass, but racy and with a lighter touch on the citrus. A little saline and briney. Delicious. — 7 days ago

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Ooooooo. It's gooooood! 😂. But seriously it's nice and light with a citrus bite. Not too strong of a bite. You definitely taste the Passion fruit and guava. Perfect for the Spring and Summer but if you're like me, any time of the year is good. — 11 days ago
