Delightful! Lives up to glou glou promise, a bit effervescent, like a very light and refined Snapple peach tea — 16 days ago

Altenberg Erste Lage Kabinett Riesling 2012

Green Snapple, pear, key lime white peach. Fruity up front and fresh. Mineral in the background but this looks to be evolving very slowly. — 8 years ago

Smells like honey. Tastes like apricot jam, fresh and juicy, some tannic white tea like qualities. Reminded me of peach Snapple without the sugar. — 4 years ago

Weingut Max Ferd. Richter

Mülheimer Sonnenlay Spätlese Riesling 2000

This Max Ferd. Richter Mülheimer Sonnenlay Riesling Kabinett 2000 has aged gracefully, which is good news for Riesling lovers, since this Mosel gem sells for under $15.00 in the US. On the nose, the merest hint of petrol, but mostly there is fruit; dried pineapple, dried apricot, and delicate citrus. It’s round and full on the palate, with a nice tang of acidity that ends on a Snapple iced tea note along with modest mineral tension. A fine pairing with Baja Fish Tacos, the recipe can be found on Epicurious. — 10 years ago

Would love to try! Have one more bottle of a 1989 Kabinett Trocken Riesling I purchased for a song ($20) in my fridge. It's past its prime, and not as vibrant as I'm sure it once was, but still complex and interesting.
