Again 14.8% but compared to the 09 this 08 was much more harmonious and hardly showed the alcohol. From Peter’s cellar — 4 years ago
Not as spicy as promised but smooth, with a cool crispness. Light and paired with with a late summer bonfire. — 6 years ago
World’s best back wine label ever: basically, the winemaking is “meticulously select, press lightly and keep our hands off... All the other wonderful qualities of the wine, the rich aromatics, the minerality, the long, complex finish come out of the vineyard”. Pale yellow white, excellent clarity. Citrus and floral notes in nose. Lemongrass, lime peel flavors, rounded mouthfeel, good acidity, almost dry, minimal skin astringency. Minerality? Check. A hint of grapefruit on the finish. Better for sipping and canapés than a hearty meal. — 7 years ago
Not sure what it is about an August summer night and the Terra Sancta Pinot, but it was almost a year ago to the day I opened my last bottle. This is a NZ Central Otaga wine. Still drinking strong. Bright red fruits, berries, plenty of finesse and balance and a tasty long finish. Tip o' the hat to winemaker / owner Peter Rosback. — 8 years ago
Undetermined sweet fruits on the nose, which turn out to be apricot and pineapple when tasted. Delicious, and a great buy at $10. — 8 years ago

Really nice wines from a small winery in OR we discovered during a tasting at Sineann (they are co-located at the same winery). — 4 years ago
A nice mouthful of fruit, a hint of chocolate, and an all-around fun cab to drink. — 7 years ago

Glad we waited until 2018 to open this 2010. Probably should have waited another 5 yrs or so. Sweet elagic tannins a bit overly pronounced, but just starting to integrate. For the coldest vintage we’ve had in the NW in decades, this shows ripe yet restrained character, chalky cocoa tannins, brambley black raspberry, cassis, blackstrap molasses, pipe tobacco, hint of anise. I can only imagine the hangtime for 14.8% abv in 2010, but it didn’t stick out and added to the structure. One of the best Sineann wines I’ve tasted. — 8 years ago
Licorice, mysterious roots, stewed walnut shell, and black currant. At first open, this was really shouty, but an hour of breathing made it quite happy. Yes, this is high alcohol, but it shows very nicely (particularly with age), and was a great pair with our carne asada and charred corn tacos. — 9 years ago

2011. Perfect wine for the opening day of the NHL and pizza! Wine Enthusiast says it is a blend of Merlot and Zinfandel. Their review in 2013 referred to sharp-edges and tart flavors, but the additional 7+ years under screwcap has mellowed those edges and resulted in plummy fruits and mild tannins. — 5 years ago
