It's a very hot night in the city. I was looking for a nice Mediterranean varietal style of rose. This happened to be the only Such rose at Wegmans in Chestnut Hill. It was $13 so I thought I'd give it a try. Delicious! It was perfect in the moment ... We were eating hummus & feta & other Sherpa milk & goats milk based cheeses on artisanal crackers & flatbreads with some olives... A perfect summer cocktail rose! Cheers! — 9 years ago

My first Swiss Pinot. Nice peppery fruit profile. Fairly lean, but with a nice acid balance and concentration of flavor. A good foil to some of the heavier wines we had that night. — 8 years ago

It's a hot night & im having some beautiful Sherpa & goats milk based cheeses & my reliable pal Jorge Ordonez has this promising White Viura packaged under the Borsao label (very trusty old vine Garnacha!). Wow! This wine was perfect. A little bit of barrel aging kissed with a scent of citrus but full of beautiful fruit with a perfect mellow acid backbone give this wine a structure that is far superior to its $8 price.... I don't know how long one can shelf this stuff but buy a case for summer quaffing.... A great wine! Thank you Jorge & to Leonardo Loscasio... Thanks for supporting Jorge's selections! — 9 years ago
