Tastes like a Howell Mountain Cab — 7 years ago
The way this wine changed from when we opened until the final glass was poured was remarkable. Give it time after opening — 9 years ago
Excellent. Red cherry and black fruit, ripe fruit (but not cooked or stewed) forest floor, chewy tannins. 14% alc., seemed higher. #garagiste — a year ago
Super structured, sweet, fruity — 6 years ago
Slow ox 3 hours, followed by 2 hour decant, and enjoyed with traditional spaghetti with pomodoro sauce, shaved Parmesan and rolled meatballs. Ruby, clear. Hint of tar, smoke, botanicals on nose, with red fruits coming to the fore with time in the glass. Medium bodied. Dried cherry on the palate. Medium plus acidity. Tannic bite on the finish, mellowed by prolonged air and food. Elegant. Give it plenty of air at this point to show its best. Will be better with a few years of age. — 2 years ago

Last acquisition of Ratti, this is the highest vineyard in the denomination. I think this is the first vintage they bottled Serradenari, very promising.
A bit more tannic than most La Morra wines.
Unique minty balsamic that personally i have never met so clear in a Barolo. Nearly a camphor oil.
A wine for the long haul.
15 to 20 years ahead i reckon. — 8 days ago
