Salvaje - bret — 4 years ago
Dark ruby color that is a bit translucent but still has some cloudiness. Notes of wild fresh strawberries, cherry jam, a bit of barnyard and salty qualities (from the yeast). On the palate, has a light to medium body with some roundness and plush tannins. More fresh strawberries straight from the fields, simmered cherries or a cherry jam, with a hint of basil. Is light enough to enjoy alone or with light nibbles. But would pair well with a range of dishes including barbecue, pizza, grilled pork, steak, or a chicken dish (with a sauce and some spices). — 5 years ago

Have you ever tried an orange wine? Do you like them? Yes, no? Try this one. Absolutely unbelievable. The perfume coming of this wine made by Casa de Uco knocks you off your socks: unmistakeable jasmine, tangerine and violets. So intense and you find it all back in the flavor. Most balanced, flavorful, edgy but soothing orange wine on the finish I have ever tasted. Addict-able good, rushing to the next sip. Seriously, try it. Never experienced a wine like this. Très bon espagnol qui passe facile. Goûteux, pas trop corsé. Très bon — 2 years ago
" surprisingly balanced, with cranberry and raspberry playing counterpoint to beets and fig. The noble savage. Only 6,000 bottles made." Augustin, the winemaker, opted for no oak, and had the wine spend a year in a concrete egg. Beautiful Malbec wine. — 4 years ago

Clear, medium ruby in color with a hint of garnet; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of plums, blueberries, tar, and a hint of mocha; on the palate, it's dry with pronounced intensity primary and secondary flavors of blackberries, sugar plums, red pepper flakes, and tar with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as good. Nellie likes it, too. — a month ago
