Cervecería del Valle Sagrado

Apu Verónica Doble IPA

From a producer based in Peru’s Sacred Valley, hence the cervecería name. Great amber color with a plentiful nose. Light-medium body. Not as heavy as most IIPA’s I’ve tasted from the USA or Europe. ABV% tasted more like 7.3% than 9.3% but that’s always the trap with this style, isn’t it? Based on this, I’d hit this again and/or look to try other styles from this producer. 9.11.24. — 4 months ago

Collection 20 Anos Porto Blend

Nice 20 year tawny from Sogrado. A bit too sweet for me - at least compared to some of the big British named ports - but well crafted with deep caramelized flavor and a nice finish. — 8 years ago

Reserva Douro Red Blend 2017

Verging on overpowering to start before settling into something more nuanced. Purple plum and baking spice. — a year ago
