Laccento Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato 2016

One of the best light bodied red you could find at this price. Amazing complex floral nose, rose, peony, with hints of plum and cherry. Soft tannins, medium dryness, with a touch of cola on the palate. Long, complex, fruity finish. — 5 months ago

Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato 2017

Every now and again I CRAVE a Ruche (or Rouchet). Grapey and blackberryish, but not too over the top. Some underbrush and violets too. Crunchy and vibrant in the mouth. Will go well (if there’s any left) with my Tapulon all’ Borgomanero. — 2 months ago

I had the 2012 a while back, which was good.

Limpronta Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato

2016. Well rounded. Smooth. It comes from an unusual grape but the vairiety is a welcome change for mature palettes. — 4 months ago

San Pietro Realto Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato 2011

Discovered this while touring Barolo. Rare grape. Excellent from front to finish. Starts with pleasant floral with pepper in the middle. Well balanced and unique. Taking some home. — 3 months ago

Cantine Valpane

Rosso Ruske Ruche

Very earthy nose, almost a little Brett funky. Light body with a slight funk but lots of tannins come in right away. Very nice with a slight chill and should go great with grilled pork steaks and mushrooms! — 5 months ago
