Walla Walla rocks barnyard funk, blackberry, smokey red meat, toasted nuts, savory umami, black olive, espresso...surprisingly light on the palate at 13.5%, very fine tannins, could use a bit more backbone...out of balance right now; one of those wines I find much more interesting on the nose than on the palate.
