Einer der leckersten Weine, die ich jemals trank. Sehr fruchtig — 2 years ago
April 2023. Mahogany color. Unctuous, sweet, very fruity. Better second day. Becoming more smooth and balanced, hint of oak vanished and acidity mellowed completely. Perfect at 23 years. Very similar to Riesling BA. — 3 years ago
2015. Lighter body, spicy, cherry, great QPR for a 1.0 L bottle. Went really well with a Moroccan Lamb Pasty that has chick peas, spinach, and dried cherries. — 6 years ago
Räuschling, not Gewürztraminer. Nice grape! — 8 years ago
Amazingly well balanced, not too dry, not too sweet. Highly recommended and amazing for aperativ. — 8 years ago
The 2020 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru has a reductive bouquet that initially obscures some of the terroir expression. That reduction seems to bed in when I return to the glass after ten minutes. The palate is rich and viscous at the entry, and the acidity thankfully maintains tension. The finish feels pure but a bit predictable. Potentially, a lovely mouthful of Meursault, depending on how that reduction pans out, yet intuition is that it doesn't have the class of the best wines in the appellation. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2024)

Crisp, back note of peppery honey. — 4 years ago
I really have a going to start loving left Bank Merlot heavy winds lately. This is no exception, oh wonderful smooth and silky wine with medium body farm and smooth pans, and wonderful flavors of black currant blackberry leather earth and a smoky roast meat flavor. Decanted for an hour and a beautiful open and finish with top mouth feel the entire way. Delicious. — 4 years ago
Scribbly, disjointed scumble above very cloudy toddy. Cut blood orange, red grapefruit, persimmon, table grape, and baked lemon. Wild, yeasty notes, with scraped aloe plant, dill, carrot, and carnation-daisy. Whoa. Chardonnay perfumes envelope dried green olive and green apple tastes. Weird, white pepper-dried raspberry that has nutritional yeast and cedar. Lime-pineapple devoid of fructose. Active mouthfeel has lemon peel oils, grapefruit pith, salty guava, amplified dragonfruit, and kafir leaves with crushed poppyseed dusting. Stone fruit stone tastes. Overall, a Brett-like orange, with floral suggestions of lillies dragging. Complex, and really amazing, finishing with a tartar-biscuit nod to warm Champagne vintages. Only nature could conjure this. Steel pans with whole citrus and stone fruit purées that turn herbal in the tangle of peel, leaves, stems and seed. — 7 years ago

Top gemacht!! — a month ago
