An impressive red from Calabria, especially for the price (under $20). Aromas of soy sauce, Vegemite, primarily, accenting blackberry-like fruit notes, black pepper and chesenurgers. Medium-bodied, with good fruit/acid balance and medium tannins, I enjoyed it with a Porterhouse steak cooked stovetop with garlic and thyme. Fairly developed, so drink it within the next few years if you have it. β 7 years ago

Best Calabrian I have ever tasted. Great balance. β 6 years ago
Deep gold, weighty flavors but crisp acidity and well balanced alcohol, leads with intense ripe yellow apples and tropical fruits with other fruit and spice to round out a complex palate β 7 years ago
